March 2024
Amalan Setar was delighted to welcome students from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) to Sari Alamanda 4 in Serendah for an educational construction site visit. The visit reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting industry-academia collaboration and nurturing the next generation of built environment professionals through meaningful learning experiences.
The visit provided Quantity Surveying students with a unique opportunity to observe an active residential development and gain valuable insights into real-world construction practices. By stepping beyond the classroom, students experienced how construction projects are planned, coordinated, and executed while gaining a deeper appreciation of the roles and responsibilities involved throughout the development process.
Throughout the site visit, students observed various stages of construction and learned about project planning, quality control, safety practices, and site coordination. In addition, they had the opportunity to engage with project personnel, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of the practical challenges and solutions involved in delivering a quality residential development.
Furthermore, the visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between developers, consultants, contractors, and other industry professionals. This exposure helps students connect academic theories with practical applications, preparing them for successful careers in the construction and property development industry.
At Amalan Setar, we believe education plays a vital role in shaping the future of the industry. Therefore, we are proud to support initiatives that provide students with valuable industry exposure while encouraging continuous learning and professional development. Through collaborations with universities and educational institutions, we aim to contribute to the development of knowledgeable, skilled, and industry-ready graduates.
Sari Alamanda continues to grow as a thoughtfully planned township in Serendah, offering quality homes, modern infrastructure, and a comfortable living environment for Malaysian families. As the township progresses, it also serves as an excellent platform for educational visits that allow students to witness the realities of large-scale residential development firsthand.
We sincerely thank Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and its faculty members for visiting Sari Alamanda 4. Amalan Setar looks forward to building more partnerships with educational institutions and continuing to inspire future professionals through practical learning, knowledge sharing, and industry engagement.
